Hello Paras of Tennessee!

Due to the [ironic] series of unfortunate events that have taken place in 2020, this year’s TAOP conference meeting will be conducted virtually rather than in person as it normally is. Because of the decision to structure the meeting virtually, we are obviously not able to physically carry out the new officer induction ceremony. Effective immediately are the following newly inducted Tennessee Paraoptometric Association Officers:

TPA President: Melanie Jenkins

TPA Vice President: Heather Aliff

TPA Secretary: Amie Robinson

TPA Treasurer: Donna Hyder-Rogers

It is my privilege and pleasure to turn the virtual gavel over to Melanie, whom I know will take great pride in serving as your new TPA President for the next two years. The officers holding new positions this upcoming term will do great things for our profession!

Thank you sincerely for allowing me to serve as your TPA President for the past three years. It has been an honor to invest in my profession as well as learn and grow with such an outstanding and respectable group of fellow paras!
